Many of our helpers now have tour guide certificates which means that they get free admission to most attractions. There are some helpers who do not have the certificates because they are outstanding and always get fantastic feedback from customers. For these helpers there will be more expenses to pay. If you are concerned about this please mention it when you submit the helper request form or when you talk to a helper via email.

Process: Submit the form, it will go to all available helpers, the ones interested in or available for your trip will contact you (probably within 48 hours) then you can arrange the details between yourselves. If 2 or more helpers contact you please let the other ones know that you will not be needing their services. Your helper will meet you at your hotel (or elsewhere) to help with sightseeing, shopping, eating etc. You then pay the helper 300RMB ($42) at the end of each day. All this money goes to the helper and no one else, we think it is a fair price for their hard work helping you. We hope that after your trip you will be so delighted with the service that you will email us with your feedback and possibly give a small donation to any China related charity (not to us).
