I set-up PersonalChinaHelper.com after teaching English for a year in Central China.

I came up with this idea when I saw how frustrated Westerners were when living or

travelling in China if they didn't have a Chinese friend. I am now too busy with my other

businesses in the UK to spend much time on this but rather than close the website I am

leaving it running in this way so customers and helpers can contact each other directly.

Just look at all the amazing testimonials that we have got! I love this idea and am delighted

of it's acheivement (but it's not profitable enough to hire someone full time to run it).

Great Helpers

Most of them are young enthusiastic individuals (many have tour guide certificates)

but don't act like regular Chinese tour guides. Some are Chinese university students

majoring in English. All are very interested in meeting, interacting with and helping visitors to China.

I set up www.personalchinahelper.com for the mutual benefit of young,

honest and friendly Chinese people who want to use their English skills

while helping foreigners in China.
