I'm only too happy to provide you with feedback. Our helper in Shanghai was Juliet, and she was absolutely perfect. She confirmed with us the night before where she would meet us, and was there ready and on time. I was a bit nervous booking something like this in China over the internet from Australia, but it was hassle free and went 100% smoothly.

Juliet's English was perfect - and chatting about life in China was brilliant - especially with someone from a similar age and background to us. We were mostly concerned with shopping, and Juliet's knowledge and assistance was invaluable. She took us around all the shops, was able to give us an idea of what to pay, advised us of the things to watch out for, and with our iPod purchases was great in asking additional details which would have been difficult or impossible to obtain in English.

We had lunch with Juliet, and again her openness and friendliness were so much appreciated. It was great being able to sit down and talk about what life is like in Shanghai - to hear about it rather than just see it. She helped us with everything that we needed - from instruction, to our bags, to getting taxis and dealing with shop owners. At the end of the day, she then took extra time to take us through additional things we should see and detailed them on a map for us.

I can't recommend your service highly enough. I really think we would have missed out on a lot of things were we to try and do things independently. Juliet was friendly, skilled, and it was more like travelling with a friend for the day rather than a 'tour guide'.

We arrived back from China two weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our time in both Hong Kong and Beijing.

We employed the services of China helper (Ling)as it was our first time in the country and wanted to use our time wisely.

Ling called us the night before our due date and enquired as to where we wanted to go, we explained the great wall and she organised everything from there.

A van met us at the due time (8.30am) and off we left for the great wall.

Ling accompanied us (two adults two children) to the great wall and also the Hutongs during the day and her experience of the great wall was invaluable.

The children STILL talk about Ling and the impression she has left on them is incredible (see attached photo).

When I first found PCHelper on the internet, I was wondering if it was just another Chinese shake down, but it is what it claims to be. I think they should try to get into travel guides so that they look more legitimate to foreigners. An endorsement from major travel guides like Lonely Planet, Frommer's or Fodor's, etc, would help if people are hesitant to book a guide on an unknown webpage page in China. They are honest and have integrity. I have recommended them to several friends visiting China this year.

My husband and I can't thank you enough for our guide, Christina.

We had only two days to see all the sights and Christina made sure we

got to see everything on our list to do and was a great negotiator when

we did our shopping!!

This is the only way to really see and understand the culture etc. We

could have joined normal tour groups but would not have seen everything

in depth or been able to ask as many questions if we had been in a

large group.

Thank you for arranging travel guides for my stay in Beijing. The quality of the service was exceptional.

I was going to write you to tell you how much we appreciated having Eilly show us around Shanghai. She was great! She arrived at the hotel as planned and we embarked on a wonderful walking/bus/subway tour of Shanghai. We had no set agenda and just wanted to experience the city. She helped us purchase some items and showed excellent negotiating skills. She even helped us purchase a piece of medical equipment, we are in the medical equipment business and when we by chance passed a store selling medical supplies we went into have a look. We design and manufacture tourniquet instruments and wanted to see what the Chinese equivalent looked like, Eilly helped us to communicate what we wanted and also helped us to buy one. We most definitely could not have done without her! I will be recommending your service to others including our corporate travel agent.

My only disappointment was that when we tried to pay Eilly an extra 100RMB for being so helpful she wouldn't accept it. I understand it was her first time working for you, I certainly hope you will continue to employ as a personal helper.

Our short trip to Beijing was excellent, having Nemo there to help us

made it so much better. We did things and visited places that we wouldn't

have done by ourselves.

His interpretation skills were invaluable in shops, taxis and

restaurants. His knowledge of the local sites, history and Chinese people was

extensive; we were constantly chatting, and asking him questions about the country

and culture. He seemed to have all the answers!!

Nemo was also keen to know more about England, and English football!!

He is a great guy, his English was superb and we now consider him a

friend. Having a personal Chinese helper is essential; I will definitely be

using you again and will be recommending it to anyone visiting the country.

Linda was my personal chinahelper while in Beijing.

She was personable, helpful and informative.

The Saturday that she spent withe me was memorable

as we went to Tianamen Square, The Forbidden City

and The Summer Palace. That evening she arranged for

us to see an acrobatic show.

I did not use the service on Sunday as I wanted to go

to The Great Wall and was told that there probably was

not enough time as I needed to be at the airport by 1:30.

I ended up arranging, through my hotel, a car and driver to

take me to the Wall. This worked out well as I was at the Wall

by 10:00 and spent 2.5 hours climbing and touring on The Wall.

The service your company provides is great. It was perfect for me as I was traveling alone and did not really want to join a tour group. I was able to do things on my schedule with a person knowledgable about Beijing and it's history. I would definitely use your service again and would recommend this to others.

I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our tour today with Christine!!! I just wished we had been able to spend all day with her and that we had had better weather. It was sooooooo cold and then the rain came. Awful. Christine was a trooper and she just continued on. Her english is VERY good we both feel and had no problems communicating with her at all.

She was right on time this morning as well. Ahhhh, the difference between Asian college students with a job and US college students with a job. So much more punctual we have found. US students very laxidasical.

We hope to return to Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai again not this summer but next and will surely get ahold of you for a tour guide while we are in Shanghai.

Our day with Taylor was great, I wish we'd had a second free day. He was courteous, intelligent, flexible and friendly, Greg and I totally enjoyed his company. We both also appreciated his English ability. At no time did we experience miscommunication, something we were familiar with after three weeks touring around China. Taylor really knows his town, we got around easily and saw more than we'd expected, but at a comfortable pace. At his suggestion we added the top of Jin Mao Tower and Xintandi (where we had lunch) to our list, both winners. One place we wanted to see, the synagogue, was closed for renovation, but we still had a nice chat with one of the gentlemen who is sort of a caretaker there, followed by a stroll through the old Russian neighborhood, some of which was familiar from a documentary I'd seen. We all thought we'd have time after that to see the Jade Buddha temple, so we put that at the end of our list. Sadly they close at 4:30, so we didn't get to look inside, it went on our list for another visit to Shanghai. Taylor felt bad about that and remembered I'd mentioned interest in the old Shanghai Exhibition Hall, so at his suggestion we added that to the end of our day, snagging some great pictures of that amazing 1950's Soviet gift to the city. By then we were all tired, but still enjoying each other's company, so we decided to walk back to our hotel. It was a longer hike than expected, but Taylor kept it interesting, pointing out several interesting sights along the way and even carrying our backpack. He escorted us right to the hotel elevator, a total gentleman. You have an excellent guide in Taylor, we would recommend him (and your service) to anyone. BTW, I did get over to Bobo's, the "bear" bar, later that night. It's an easy cab ride from the French concession and a very low-key place with karaoke as the main entertainment. Not a taste of wild nightlife, but very interesting nonetheless.

Both Amelie and Holly were really terrific. Both were very adaptable in terms of being willing to go to the places I wanted to go and to see. Amelie really made an effort to find things I asked about that were a bit off the beaten path and to adapt to my requests to see things. She was very organized and had a nice agenda of ideas of what to see.

Holly put up with us dragging her through the Military Museum which I think for a woman was not high on the list of things to see. She stuck with it all very well although I know she had a sore throat and so I don't think was feeling 100%. She was especially helpful in the Silk Market helping me to shop!

Short note to inform that my personal china helper (Linda Wang) did an excellent job of being a tour guide.

Linda was very professional, had a great working knowledge of the English language, pleasant & cheerful, saved me a lot of money with bargaining for goods (Wangfujing Street Market & Silk Market), was eager to help me accomplish all the items on my day's list and taught me how to use the metro & bus system.

In fact, her instructions were so good, that I managed the next day (by myself), to get from my hotel to Jingshan Park / Oriental Plaza utilizing the bus & metro, without any problems. For an individual who can not even speak one word of mandarin, this was an exceptional feat.

Thanks for the follow up. Our Personal China Helper was Winnie and she was fantastic. She met us right on time at the Peninsula (actually she was a few minutes early which I really appreciate). We then discussed some alternatives and she escorted us to the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. Although she was quite knowledgable about the locations we visited, it was her charm and friendly manner that really made the day enjoyable. She also spoke excellent English.

When we first made contact with your organization, we had no idea of how to approach our visit to Beijing. Thus, we did not know whether we would need a Helper for more than one day. By the time we met Winnie, we had been in China for two weeks and Beijing for two days. We had already visited many of the unique sites and were fairly comfortable with the city. Therefore, we decided to proceed on our own for the last two days. This approach did work out well for us. However, without this level of familiarity, I expect we would have wanted the Helper for multiple days.

We had a great experience with your service and will (and already have) recommend your service to others visiting Beijing. For those visiting for the first time, I would recommend they engage a helper for two or three days. For those who have been to China previously, I think a Helper for at least one day allows one to get their feet firmly planted and to be more active quicker.

We did appreciate our time with your Helpers especially Holly for whom we all developed a real affection with her conscientiousness, politeness and pleasant disposition and her command and understanding of English was

very good. Abby was also a good help but did not seem to have the experience of Holly. I think she learnt a few things on her travels with us (this did not worry us).

The Helpers were all easy to converse with, they all provided what I expected assistance with our language problem and guidance in getting around the City perhaps a little more local knowledge of the city history and points of interest would make for a more interesting visit to their City particularly for people like ourselves who are "time short" and have to

hit the ground running.

I really appreciated your efforts in setting up the arrangements for us and I know the result of the exercise was the envy of many of our fellow passengers who were amazed that the exercise went off so well. The trip up from the port was a bit hairy and you could look at contacting a taxi service to work in with you without obligation at an agreed fare (our cost US $70 each way) over two days $US$140 return.

In our opinion the service you offered was what we expected and left us with a sense of satisfaction. We would certainly recommend the service to others and will catch up when we visit China again some time in the near future -

perhaps after the Games.

Hello! I just returned from my trip overseas. After we left Beijing, we went on to Hong Kong and Bali for a week of vacation.

Well my kids liked her very much and on our way to Great wall she gave us so much of info on History and the emperors that we thought we should go back to visit the Forbidden city again.

She was great to fill us up on all details, that by end of the day we saw the Great wall, Temple of Heaven and Forbidden city too. It was at this time that we decided to get her back for the next day. and she lived upto her expectation and gave us a very memorable tour of the Summer Palace.

My kids became very fond of her and she was so nice with the kids that the whole day it was Winnie this and Winnie that.

We had Jessie for two days in Beijing and she was an excellent ambassador for your country.

Nothing was a problem and she even talked a taxi driver to going out of his way for us,

in our search for something special.

On the Third day in Beijing we had Anita, who was also excellent, and took

us, at our request, to some local shopping, far away from the tourist areas.... which was great.

In Shanghai, William was our guide, and being a typical male, all he could think about was his stomach.... just joking.

But he did take us to an excellent restaurant in the Yuyang market( apparently Bill Clinton dined there) and the price was very reasonable.

We were very impressed with the level of service we got, and we will be recommending your service to any of our friends who may travel to China.

the whole, everyone, Ada in Beijing, David in Nanjing and Flora and

Claire in Shanghai, was very good. Their English was very good and

They were very accommodating to my requests.

It was so hot and humid in the 3 cities, I think I wore out the 3 of

them by all the walking we did and by all the places that I wanted to

go see. I am sure that I was more of the anomaly, rather than the norm, in terms of what I wanted to do and see.

All in all, it was very beneficial for me, since I was traveling alone, to have help in navigating these cities.

My husband and I visited Beijing during August 2007 and during this time spent 3 days with Jessie and 1 day with Betty as our guides.

Both girls spoke beautiful English and had an excellent vocabulary.

The girls were always well prepared and had quite obviously done their homework on the places we wished to visit. Jessie is a walking encyclopaedia on the Forbidden City!

They also made excellent suggestions for restaurants which enabled us

to sample traditional dishes. We had a lot of fun with Jessie at Mutianyu and the poor girl bravely trekked to and fro on the great wall, always with a smile! Both girls were extremely helpful in the markets and absolutely brilliant with taxi drivers!

Thank you for your email and thank you for letting Flora wait for me in Shanghai. I eventually got back to the Hua Ting hotel at 1500. On the service I was very impressed that you were able to respond so quickly to changes to my schedule and that communications was relatively straight forward.

Once I did meet up with Flora in Shanghai I was unsure as to how best to use my time for shopping or sight seeing. We discussed the options and I decided where to go and what to see. Flora was very knowledgeable and could communicate freely in English and was excellent at translation and interpretation from Chinese. Although the start time was very delayed Flora was only too happy to stay on to help me see all the sights that I wanted too before concluding the assisted tour. As we finished after dark I offered to pay for a cab home to save a long bus journey but Flora was happy to travel by bus and assurred me she would be OK. I paid her as agreed but after she left I felt I should have added a tip for the understanding she showed by staying with me into the evening. Thank you again for the excellent service, I will be in contact again on my return to China and will pass on contact details to freinds and colleagues travelling to China.

We utilized a personal helper for 2 days during our visit to China.

We had Holly in Beijing. We made contact the night before and Holly arranged for a car and a driver.

We went to the Great Wall Mutianyu, drove back to Beijing for a reasonable lunch, and visited the Lama

Temple.

What a great day!

When we arrived in Shanghai we made contact with Mai. I suggested going to Suzhou via the train (40 minutes)

to visit some of the famous gardens. Unfortunately it was National Day, and every Chinese person in Shanghai

seemed to be at the train station.

All the tickets were sold out, but Mai secured 3 bunks on a sleeper train with my approval. We made it to Suzhou at about 11:30 but we found swarms of people everywhere. After visiting one extremely crowded garden, I suggested let's call it a day here. Mai was very resourceful and after much effort secured a car and a driver to return us to Shanghai.

We went to a shopping center to last minute shop for about an hour before returning to the hotel. National Day is not a good day to plan outings, but our personal helper turned a day that could have been a disaster into a manageable day.

Thank goodness for Mai!

Holidays are not much fun for traveling in any country!
